This is a digital only live recording of a spoken word set featuring never before heard poetry performed by Marisa Allen at the esteemed 2011 Queensland Poetry Festival in Brisbane, Australia at the Judith Wright Center for Contemporary Arts. For the 'All is Roar and Crash' session in which was featured Irish ex pat poet and songwriter Andy White and West Australian poet and cellist Kevin Gillam. It features a 15 minute set of spoken word including two music interludes on bowed saw, and autoharp. A very special performance it also includes an acoustic version of a forthcoming Bremen Town Musician song 'Nerve Child' which was performed impromptu with the fantastic Kevin Gillam accompanying on cello.

Also included is artwork by Marisa that was projected onto the back wall during the performance. Enjoy!
